After completing high school, Matt started his career in the finance industry with one of Australia’s ‘big four’ banks. Over a decade, he advanced through various roles within the institution, ultimately serving as a Commercial Relationship Manager. During this time, Matt honed his skills in customer service, credit writing, and financial analysis across a wide range of industries.

Founding Maine Finance

Understanding the strong value proposition, Matt decided to enter the broking industry working within a successful commercial broker business as a Credit Analyst, Loan Writer, and Customer Manager. In 2022, Matt joined Maine Finance as a licenced Finance Broker and became the resident expert in home loan finance. Matt’s in-depth knowledge of lender policies, both residential and commercial, adds significant value to any client he deals with..

Personal Life and Hobbies

Outside of work, Matt is an avid sports fan with a keen interest in the West Coast Eagles and Manchester United. Over the years, he has played various sports, including Aussie Rules, football, and cricket. Matt now enjoys a love/hate relationship with golf, striving to improve his game each week and dreaming of one day hitting the Tour.
